The basic philosophy of this blog - as Americans, we are NOT accountable to the rest of the world on how we conduct elections or for the results of those elections.
That said, there is no requirement to apologize to the rest of the world because we endorse concepts of freedom, liberty, and democracy.

I could endorse a whole bunch of things. People would still think I’m an ass unless I actually live up to the endorsements. That lesson was missed by the unapologetic one.

What a bunch of pious frauds. They couldn’t care less about liberty, democracy, or what’s implied by these first two—self-determination. What they do like is the personal/fantasy sense of power that comes with identifying with a military aggressor. I imagine it makes up for the lack of autonomy in their real lives.
Foreign policy should not be conducted to please people whose needs for aggressive and violent spectacle are just as well met by bad action adventure movies. Hey, maybe a vanguardist party could secretly take over the US, give these morons income subsidies and free cable TV, and broadcast bogus war footage into their homes. They’d never know the difference, and then the grown-ups could take care of matters.

I”ve been arguing that a vanguard should do exactly that. If what you have is already paternalism, why not go for adult paternalism? I would also make sure they had plenty of dope to smoke and no liquor.
