Making Friends By Blogging

I just spent 10 days in Montreal … some work, some catching up with friends, some exploring and enjoying the streets and atmosphere of the city.

On two of those days I was accompanied by a guy I have come to know over the past three years.

Great tale! Someday I hope to meet you Canadians myself. Glad that Brian is oot and aboot. (hehe… just couldn’t help myself. I know, it’s obnoxious, but — well — that’s me.)

Thanks for the warm wishes, fp .. it would be nice to meet you, too .. and I remember your posts about your visit to Montreal a couple of years ago. I believed you liked your quick taste of it.

We’ve bouted the “oot and aboot” thing back and forth before, I think. Brian and I, whilst walking arooond, were practicing our best imitations of I Am Not Canadian, giggling at each other. Good thing probably that we didn’t go into any Quebecois bars (nah, not really, the patrons would probably have even more of a giggle over us two dumb-ass nglos making arses of ourselves).
