Yes, as I recall you mentioned the role of serious games and virtual worlds the very first time we met, probably back in 1998 or 1999. What fascinates me right now is the mingling of the virtual and physical worlds, the real world increasingly being a blend of the two!

The last thirty years has mostly been in the province of engineers, technologists, developers, etc.
I think that the next thirty will increasingly be about sociology and techno-anthropology, as yes the virtual and the physical continue to blend.
Have you ever read Thomas de Zengotita’s “Mediated - How the Media Shapes your world and the way You Live In It” ? Highly recommended.
