Direct from the keyboard of one of Forrester’s high-profile social media analysts, Jeremiah Owyang.
For all of you out there that think that Forrester’s (or Gartner’s, or Jupiter’s, etc.) assessment of a given company’s prospects is objective

Oh boy, I had a feeling this was going to be taken out of context, the jokes on me for sure.
This statement was mis-understood by several, I had a few direct messages. Here’s what I said immediately after that, to be very clear:

Jeremiah jowyang @mwalsh I don’t understand your question, rephrase? http://www.zookazoo.com/ is a great experience, really fun, great sound.
Jeremiah jowyang @mwalsh oh no, being a client has NOTHING to do with scoring, completely separate. I have no problem scoring a client low, if I cover them about
Jeremiah jowyang @tomforemski I hope that’s a good thing, as I’m expected to be objective, that’s the rule #1
Jeremiah jowyang Some folks are confused about what I said, when I said “clients first” I’m referring to readers of my reports. The report is objective.
jowyang @tomforemski Glad that’s all cleared up, a simple misunderstanding, I can see how that came across as confusing. Anyone has questions? DM me

Hope this helps clear this up
